Cookie Policy
Last updated: March 3, 2026
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Thinkscoop (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on thinkscoopinc.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data more generally.
2. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (such as your computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to website owners.
We also use other technologies that perform similar functions, such as pixels, tags, local storage, and scripts. In this Policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies”.
3. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies for several reasons, which we group into the following categories:
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function properly and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to actions you take that amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences or filling in forms.
Examples include:
- Cookies that store your cookie consent and preferences;
- cookies that help us maintain security and load‑balancing of the Site.
3.2 Performance and analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can measure and improve performance. They collect aggregated information, such as which pages are visited most often, how visitors move around the Site, and which links are clicked.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for traffic analytics. We also use PostHog for product analytics, including conversion funnel analysis and feature usage tracking. These tools may set their own cookies and process your IP address and other technical data, in line with their own privacy policies. These cookies are set only where permitted by law and depend on your consent.
PostHog cookies include: ph_ prefixed cookies for session tracking, distinct user identification (after form submission only), and feature flag evaluation. PostHog data is hosted in the US (PostHog Cloud).
3.3 Product analytics cookies
We use PostHog to understand how visitors interact with specific features, track conversion funnels (form starts, submissions, bookings), and identify users after they submit a lead form. PostHog does not load if you decline analytics cookies via our consent banner. PostHog captures: page views, click events, form interactions, and session recordings (if enabled). No data is collected before consent is given.
3.4 Third‑party integrations
The Site may link to or embed content and tools provided by third parties (for example, scheduling tools and video platforms). When you interact with such content, those third parties may set their own cookies, which are not under our direct control. Your use of those services is governed by the relevant third party's privacy and cookie policies.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
When you first visit the Site, you may be presented with a banner or notice that explains how we use cookies and asks you to make certain choices. You can use this banner to accept or reject non‑essential cookies where required by law.
In addition, most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Please refer to your browser's help section or settings menu for more information. If you block some or all cookies, parts of the Site may not function properly.
5. Cookie Retention
Cookies can be “session” cookies (which are deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them). We configure our cookies and third‑party tools to retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in legal requirements. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about our use of cookies.
7. Contact
If you have any questions about our use of cookies or this Policy, please contact us at contact@thinkscoopinc.com.
